Nicolas Repond works from his studio in Vuadens, Gruyère. He photographs on commission, and he also pursues long-term series, such as the alpine pasture season, which he follows in black and white.
His work starts from his relationship with his subjects rather than from equipment. What matters is the time spent on a building site, in a pasture or with a person, and the way one returns to it.
